S_ M03
- Writing S alone does not rotate the spindle. It starts rotating with M03/M04 (Mitsubishi material)
- Most M-codes are assigned by the machine builder (Siemens ISO: M00–M89 are defined by the machine tool builder). Always check the machine's operator's manual
