Poor hole surface or chatter (reaming)
Reaming Reaming

Check first
- Insufficient cutting fluid causes built-up edge
- Poor chip evacuation
- Pilot hole surface is poor, or the reaming allowance is not suitable
Try first
- Reduce the feed per revolution and adjust the rotation speed
- Use a highly lubricating cutting fluid and increase the flow and pressure (replace degraded water-soluble fluid)
- Use a reamer with oil holes
